New sites awarded with European Heritage Label

The European Heritage Label has been awarded to ten new sites that have played a significant role in the history and culture of Europe or the building of the European Union. 

The European Commission awarded the European Heritage Label to ten historical sites across the Union. The awards were announced on 31 March 2020.

Among awards sites there are also ones from V4 countries: Living Heritage of Szentendre (Hungary), Kynžvart Castle – Place of diplomatic meetings (Czech Republic) and Site of Remembrance in Łambinowice (Poland). Additionaly, a transnational site "The Werkbund Estates in Europe 1927-1932" includes Wroclaw, Brno and Prague.
